Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Martsym Trade Ltd collects through this website, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.

Last updated: 3 September 2026

1. Who we are

MARTSYM TRADE LTD ("Martsym", "we", "us") is a private limited company registered in England & Wales under company number 15967593, with its registered office at Suite 13079, 43 Bedford Street, London, WC2E 9HA, United Kingdom.

We are the data controller for personal data collected through https://martsym.com. Questions about this policy or about how we handle your data can be sent to info@martsym.com.

2. What we collect

We only collect what you choose to send us. There is no account system on this website, and we do not sell or trade personal data under any circumstances.

When you submit the enquiry form we receive the following:

  • Your name and, where provided, your company name
  • Your business email address and, where provided, your telephone number
  • The trade direction, indicative volume and requirement description you enter
  • Basic technical information generated by the request, such as the time it was sent

3. Why we use it

We use the information you submit for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and, where it leads to a commercial relationship, to administer that relationship.

Our lawful bases are legitimate interests — responding to a business enquiry you have initiated — and, where a contract follows, performance of that contract. We do not use your details for marketing unless you separately ask us to.

4. Cookies and analytics

This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not build a profile of you across other websites.

Fonts and assets are served from the same domain as the site itself, so loading a page does not disclose your visit to a third-party content network.

5. Who we share it with

Enquiry details are handled by our own staff and are delivered to our company mailbox by our hosting and email providers acting as processors on our behalf.

We disclose personal data to anyone else only where we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to perform a contract you are party to — for example, sharing delivery details with a freight partner on an order you have placed.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a commercial relationship are retained for up to 24 months so that we can pick up a conversation you may return to, and then deleted.

Records connected to a concluded transaction are retained for as long as required by UK company and tax law, and then deleted.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to request a portable copy.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@martsym.com. We will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

8. Security and changes

The website is served over HTTPS, and form submissions are transmitted encrypted. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed absolutely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the data involved.

We may update this policy as our operations change. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
