Sourcing & Procurement
We find the manufacturer, negotiate the terms and hold them to the specification.
UK-registered wholesale trade
We source apparel, cosmetics, building materials and general merchandise for distributors, retail chains and industrial buyers — buying direct from manufacturers and holding the specification from purchase order to delivery.
Trade directions
Each direction corresponds to a SIC code registered for Martsym Trade Ltd at Companies House. What we say we trade in and what the public register says we trade in are the same thing.
Volume clothing and footwear programmes for retail chains, wholesalers and workwear suppliers.
Fragrance, skincare and personal care lines with documented provenance and compliant labelling.
Timber, finishing materials and sanitary equipment supplied against construction programmes and schedules.
Non-specialised wholesale across household, electrical and consumer goods, sourced to a brief.
Who we are
We buy direct, hold suppliers to the specification, and answer for the whole shipment.
Martsym Trade Ltd was incorporated in London on 19 September 2024 to consolidate wholesale trading across four registered directions under a single UK counterparty.
For buyers, that means a supplier whose registration, address and filings are public and verifiable — and whose commercial terms are agreed in writing before production starts.
Capabilities
We are not a broker passing an enquiry down the line. Sourcing, freight, inspection and documentation sit with one team, so there is one party accountable when a shipment needs a decision.
All servicesWe find the manufacturer, negotiate the terms and hold them to the specification.
Freight, customs and delivery scheduled backwards from the date the goods are needed.
Inspection, documentation and traceability, so goods clear customs and satisfy buyers.
We act as your commercial presence in markets where you do not have one.
How we work
Trade goes wrong in the gaps between assumptions. We close those gaps before production starts, not after a container has already sailed.
You tell us the specification, the volume, the target landed cost and the date. If any of those four are still open, we help you close them.
We go to the manufacturers and platforms we already work with, verify capacity, and come back with costed options — not a single take-it-or-leave-it quote.
Specification, incoterms, payment terms, inspection points and delivery schedule are fixed in writing before production starts.
We hold the supplier to the specification while the goods are made, inspect before shipment, and assemble the documentation the shipment will need to clear.
Freight, customs and final delivery run against the agreed schedule, with a single point of contact for the whole movement.
Why Martsym
Martsym Trade Ltd is a private limited company on the register at Companies House in England & Wales. Our number, address and filing history are public and verifiable — a basic requirement for any buyer whose procurement process includes due diligence.
Apparel, cosmetics, building materials and general merchandise sit under a single commercial relationship. Buyers who would otherwise run four supplier accounts, four sets of terms and four sets of paperwork run one.
We are not tied to a fixed catalogue. Bring a specification, a volume, a landed cost and a date, and we source against it — including finding equivalents when a preferred line stops being competitive.
Client feedback
Buyers judge a young supplier on whether the second order looks like the first. These are the points they raise when it does.
What we needed was not a cheaper price but a supplier who would hold the specification. Composition and sizing came back from production exactly as signed off, which had not been our experience before.
They plan backwards from the date we need stock on the shelf rather than from the date a container fills. That one difference moved our seasonal range from week six of the selling window to week one.
Our compliance team signs off suppliers, not sales pitches. Certification, labelling and batch records arrived with the goods instead of being chased afterwards, so the first shipment cleared without a query.
We were running four supplier accounts to cover what is now one. Same terms, one schedule, one person who answers the phone when a delivery needs a decision.
A line we had bought for years stopped being competitive. Rather than shrug, they came back with a costed equivalent that held the same spec, and we switched without a gap in supply.
The quote was against a written specification, not a conversation, and the landed cost at delivery matched it. For a first order with a young company, that mattered more than the discount.
No. We source to a brief. Bring a specification, a volume, a target landed cost and a date, and we go to the manufacturers and wholesale platforms we already work with and come back with costed options. Where a preferred line stops being competitive, we look for an equivalent that is.
It depends on the direction and the product. Some programmes run at full container loads, others are viable as consolidated LCL shipments alongside other goods. Tell us the volume you have in mind and we will say plainly whether it works or what it would take to make it work.
Yes — that is the main reason the company was set up this way. Apparel, cosmetics, building materials and general merchandise sit under a single commercial relationship, with one set of terms, one schedule and one point of contact rather than four supplier accounts.
Yes, and we would expect a serious buyer to. Martsym Trade Ltd is a private limited company registered in England & Wales under company number 15967593, with a registered office at Suite 13079, 43 Bedford Street, London WC2E 9HA. The number, address and filing history are public at Companies House.
We will confirm whether we can meet it — and what it lands at — before anyone commits to anything.
